I feel as though the layers reflect different subconscious thoughts. I wanted to create a painting with sensitive colour interactions, I wanted depth and a complexity that would hold the viewer's attention for longer than a second and credit the intricacy of the emotional mind. I'm not sure if i have achieved this yet but it is a goal for the year ahead.
