I have been looking into manifestation and the power of law of attraction.
what I have gathered from it is that self confidence and self love that is truly believed can help you grow and make endless development.
Some ways of manifesting is to write as if you have already achieved your goals or imagine yourself as the person you want to become. I thought I could use my painting in the same sort of way, it links into the ideas surrounding zen and (abstract) self portraiture and expression.
It felt liberating to make work without self judgement or too much concern. To analyse whether I believe this is a good picture or not would almost ruin the whole idea- This isn't exactly how I want to work from now on however it was a interesting experience and experiment
